POSITION TITLE: Maintenance – Warehouse and Receiving
FLSA: Non-exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective grooming skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
- Ability to push / pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must have valid state issued driver’s license, and be able to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement to drive a school bus if and when needed.
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Director
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to maintain warehouse and delivery schedules of the district.
- Deliver copy paper to campuses within timely manner.
- Ability to maintain accurate records concerning work completed.
- Knowledge of the standard tools, methods, materials.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Ability to read and interpret sketches, blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to lay out work and make estimates of time and material requirements.
- Ability to operate a standard transmission light truck.
- Ability to operate machinery i.e.: forklift, pallet jack, mowers, tractors, etc…
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
- Able to deliver books and other supplies to campuses as they are received.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates a computer terminal, tablet or other device to input work orders.
- Receives work orders which contain description and location of repairs and reports to work site.
- Performs other related and non-related duties as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a professional relationship with students, faculty, and administration and community patrons.
- Submit all data and information as requested.
- Regularly monitor district email for pertinent communication.
- Attend meetings as scheduled by supervisors and District Administrators.
- Complete requested paperwork.
